Alicia Silver's Website

I looked at Alicia's website and I have to say it's very unique and informative. Alicia chose to do her website on the opera, and tells about some of the influential composers of the opera and some of the more famous opera performances. I did not see any errors in her website, the only thing that may need to be looked at are grammatical errors. However, I am obviously not an expert on grammar!

Classmate's website review

I looked at Rachael Nicholson's website, and I have to say it is perfect. Rachael's website is about everything you'll need to plan a wedding, and it seems like she has been planning weddings for years. I hope that everything in her wedding goes as well as her website. Good luck, Rachael!!!

Correction

I wanted to correct my post regarding blogging in the U.S.. The blog is maintained by Mr. Eric Langhurst, not by Mr. McCullough. Sorry about any misconceptions.

International blogging

It seems that everywhere and every age is blogging. I found preschoolers blogging in New Zealand. I think it's really great that these kids are being brought up learning about the rest of the world and their self. To check out New Zealand's Voyagers CLICK HERE.
Another example of young children blogging is in Canada, where 1st and 2nd graders are creating blogs. The purpose of the blog is to increase productivity in children and so that the parents can keep up with what the children are doing in school. To see Mrs. Cassidy's blog CLICK HERE.

Blogging in the U.S.

"History is a guide to navigation in perilous times. History is who we are and why we are the way we are." -David C. McCullough
That is a quote from Mr. McCullough's history blog. He uses his blog to post podcast and studycast. In his podcast students can watch (and hear) interviews about a specific topic via the Internet or I-tunes. In his studycast Mr. McCullough gives reviews for his upcoming exams. You can check out Mr. McCullough's website click here.
Ms. Sakai, of Tampa Florida, urges her kids to be more international and creative through blogging. She encourages her kids to post their writing on the blog and also ask that people who check out her blog to say who they are and where they are from so that the kids will have more knowledge about the rest of the world, and global communications. WOW!

I figured out how to delete a post after it's already been published! All by myself! I am soo proud! Anyways... everyone did great on there presentations. B.J. and Kimberly, I thought ya'lls were radical! (ha-ha get it! 80's lingo!(I'm a dork))! I hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed the Super Bowl! The Dorritos commercial with that guy slamming into the steering wheel and the girl falling was hillarious! It always gets me somebody falling down. So please if anyone falls infront of me and I laugh don't be offended. I laugh when I fall too, and you guys feel free to laugh at me if I fall(I fall quit frequently). But, look for the dorritos commercial your sure to laugh! Also, how awesome was "Purple Rain"? I would of given my right (well left) arm to be there. U2 played at the re-opening of the SuperDome. But, Prince... he's awesome! You think he had planned on singing Purple Rain before it started raining or because of the rain? Either way I'm sure glad he did!

Post to Blog

Are our post suppose to be about two other presentations or are we suppose to go and make comments on other peoples blogs??? Anyone!
